Browns is seeking a highly skilled and experienced customer database analyst to execute data science projects within our growing marketing team. As a CRM Data Scientist, reporting to the Director of CRM & Loyalty, you will be responsible for analysing and interpreting customer data to identify key insights, trends and relationships that can be used to improve our marketing segmentation strategies and boost overall cross-channel customer engagement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the marketing team to identify key business questions that can be addressed using data analysis and statistical modelling.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of customer data to create and validate audience segmentation based on user demographics, purchase behavior, tastes, and preferences.
- Develop and implement predictive models to forecast customer behavior and to identify customer trends and patterns, including customer lifetime value and churn analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize the cross-channel customer journey.
- Design and develop dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal BI and Tech teams as the key "customer" of raw centralized data structures: operationalizing it to drive customer-facing action and to support marketing decision-making.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and statistical modelling.
- Proficiency with SQL queries and data analysis tools such as R and Python.
- Proficiency with CDP platforms such as Twillo Segment, Emarsys and Tealium; experience with Snowflake, AWS or BigQuery a plus.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker and PowerBI.
- Knowledge of marketing segmentation techniques and customer database analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently on complex analytical projects with attention to detail and strong documentation practices.
