Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton has been assisting the Inuit community for over 30 years. The Northern Québec assurance team consists of young, bilingual, experienced accounting professionals and specialists, dedicated to supporting Northern communities with their accounting requirements. We are hiring for a Coordinator - Business Accounting Services at our office in Kuujjuaq, located in the Far North of Quebec.

As a Coordinator - Business Accounting Services, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing monthly accounting tasks for clients
  • Conducting bank reconciliations and variance analyses
  • Preparing payroll journals and government forms
  • Providing accounting software training and assistance to clients
  • Handling year-end tax forms and communicating with government authorities
  • Coordinating projects and administrative tasks
  • Offering recommendations for process optimization
  • Managing the physical office in Kuujjuaq

  • Professional or college diploma in accounting
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of accounting cycle, consumer taxes, and payroll preparation
  • Ability to work in a remote team and strong customer service skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and Sage 50 accounting software
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and discretion
