Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
  • Supervise and train retail staff to deliver outstanding performance
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure products are displayed effectively
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
  • Educate customers on cannabis products and how to safely consume cannabis
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies for business growth
  • Organize, receive and categorize cannabis products and accessories
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the store is maintained on a daily basis
  • Check identification of customers who appear to be 25 years of age or under
  • Abide by all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers, staff, and management
  • Capable of heavy lifting and moving merchandise when necessary
  • Proficient in computer operations for inventory management and sales tracking
  • Experience in cash handling and familiarity with office procedures
  • Basic math skills for inventory counts, sales reports, and financial transactions
  • 35 years of experience in a retail setting is preferred
  • Valid Cannsell Cannabis Retail Certification
  • A clean criminal background check from local authorities
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Must be a team player
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Availability for shift work any time between 9 to 11 pm, Monday to Sunday
  • Basic skills in math and proficiency as a cashier
  • Extensive knowledge of cannabis products and accessories is an asset
  • Personal connection to the community is an asset
  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Reliable access to Vehicle preferred
