Duties and Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to:

  • Works with the Category Management team on analysis of competitive menus and food trends to support culinary menu strategy and improve item/category performance.
  • Manages promotions as well as the annual adds, deletes and changes review of menu items, including the consultation/feedback from internal stakeholders to determine the final recommendation for all versions.
  • Works with the Training & Development team on the development and support for inrestaurant training materials, online content, and inmarket training seminars.
  • Works with the Operations team in soliciting, communicating, and coordinating operational feedback and best practices.
  • Works with IT in ensuring the necessary information is delivered for inrestaurant pointofsale programming, as well as website and ecommerce updates. Also responsible for advising thirdparties (e.g. Skip the Dishes) of Menu updates.
  • Manages the Main Menu project schedule and works with crossfunctional teams to ensure completion of tasks, adherence to schedule, and scope/quality control.
  • Coordinates and facilitates the weekly Menu Team meetings; as well as coordinating action items with responsible individuals.
  • Provides timely communication to the BPI Executive team, internal departments, and Franchisees on all Menu related updates and activities.
  • Provides reporting against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the overall menu process.
  • Leads postmortem analysis on each Menu process and provides recommendations for future process implementation.
  • Acts as liaison between Menu Captains (Franchisees) and internal teams to support in the pricing and proofing process.
  • Communicates all copy, creative and pricing changes to internal crossfunctional team.
  • Manages the pricing process to gather all pricing into the Menu Pricing Analytics Tool (PAT).
  • Facilitates the copy creation and proofing process.
  • Sets up new store openings with complete menu orders.
  • Other key projects as assigned.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Postsecondary education, with a preferred focus on marketing, business, or commerce.
  • Ideally, 35 years working experience in a project coordination or operational role within a medium to large scale Enterprise.
  • Strong ability to foster relationships and work effectively within a varied, dynamic team.
  • Proven project management experience, managing crossfunctional projects / programs heavily dependent on functional inputs.
  • Experience and/or certification in a related discipline such as Project Management, Six Sigma, Lean, or similar is a tremendous asset.
  • Experience working in a restaurant in any capacity is an asset.
