Our IT team is looking for a Helpdesk Technician based out of our office in Vancouver to join us ASAP.


What You Get To Do

Tier 1 Support:

  • Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue.
  • Prioritize and schedule problems. Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions or escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician.
  • Record, track, and document issues in the helpdesk ticketing system, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution\escalation.
  • Log IT hardware for inventory purposes when required.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to aid in troubleshooting. Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting\support for mobile devices, both iPhone and Android
  • Performing preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience in an IT related role OR
  • Diploma or University Degree in the computerrelated field
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office products, particularly excel and word.
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
  • Ability to present ideas in userfriendly language.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment.
