About The Role


As an integral member of the Business Operations team, you will be responsible for entering gifts into the foundation CRM by data entering relevant information provided by donor managers and working from a number of queues (updating constituent records, making gift adjustments, issuing refunds, etc.) that require frequent interactions with internal members of the PMCF team.

Reporting to the Manager of Business Operations you will work together to provide an exceptional donor experience by responding to and resolving issues in a timely manner.


You Will:

  • Serve as a point of contact for donor managers inquiring about donations
  • Process credit card payments and cheque deposits
  • Data enter gifts into the Foundation CRM (manually or through importing functions)
  • Review daily work queues and respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Liaise with donor managers courteously and professionally to resolve their concerns
  • Follow PMCF priorities, processes, and policies to support the team and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to fulfill donors' requests
  • Suggest improvements to processes that will enable an exceptional donor experience

You Bring:

  • 1+ years of experience in a data entry or administrative role
  • An undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in fundraising (paid or volunteer)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to prioritize multiple incoming requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) is required
  • Working knowledge in Blackbaud CRM, Asana is an asset
  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems and tools
  • Demonstrated problemsolving skills and the ability to work across the foundation to find the answer to donor questions
  • Ability to adapt to new technology
  • Knowledge of process improvement or willingness to learn preferred
  • Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code._
