What you'll be doing

The Senior Consultant, Business Effectiveness Programs reports to the Senior Director, Business Effectiveness & Controls within the Risk Management Business Effectiveness & Controls team. As the Senior Consultant, Business Effectiveness Programs, you will be responsible for the ongoing design and administration of various Programs that ensure Risk Management operations are aligned with the enterprise governance framework, policy and requirements. You will also engage teams across Risk Management and facilitate program activities by providing subject matter expertise and advisory support.

How you'll succeed

  • Building Relationships – Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers in partner organizations internal and external to Risk Management. You will be the point of contact for Controls Programs and related matters for Risk Management lines of business which will required effective interactions across teams.
  • Managing Programs – You will provide rigor and structure around the scheduling and organizing of the work that we do in this unit. You will assist the assigned LOBs to understand their responsibilities, allocate resourcing and ensure that they stay on track and onside with Program requirements.
  • Providing Guidance – Act as a subject matter expert for operational requirements and policies and their application within Risk Management, including records retention and business managed technology.
  • Analysis and Reporting – Report to the senior executives on the status of the Programs which may include issue resolution, program status and executive accountabilities.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate experience. In C ompliance, Business Controls, Regulatory, and/or Audit at Financial Institution(s). Proficiency at interpreting regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • You can demonstrate knowledge. Of risk regulations and business practices of financial institution operations. You understand various lines of businesses, products, services, delivery channels and new technologies to understand and identify respective risks. You can prepare business process documentation in alignment with the risk control framework.

  • You are a problem solver. You possess solid judgment and problem-solving skills to provide input and advice to senior management for best compliance and risk management solutions.
