Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities of staff designated as Commercial Litigation Assistants at the Firm include but are not limited to:

  1. Preparation of court documents, actions, applications, affidavits of documents, requests to admit, motion records, factums etc;
  2. Coordinating Commercial List/Court attendances;
  3. Scheduling appointments, court dates, examinations for discovery, mediations; and
  4. Communicating effectively with clients.

Qualifications , Skills and Abilities Required:

  1. Five-Seven years' experience in the areas of litigation and bankruptcy and insolvency;
  2. Strong computer skills including knowledge of MSWord, ACL and CaseLines;
  3. Excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills;
  4. Highly organized and detailed oriented with the ability to manage multiple matters;
  5. Client focused;
  6. Team player with a positive attitude;
  7. Able to manage the administrative needs of the practices.

Working Conditions:

Normal law office environment with little exposure to noise, dust, temperature.
