The Pricing Manager, Private Brand will be responsible for managing private brand costing for legacy Imperial Dade Canada and costing strategy for all acquisitions, internal cost support (ICS) process, market segment contract for private brand items and sourcing.

Imperial Dade is the leading distributor of foodservice packaging, facilities maintenance supplies and equipment in the U.S and Canada.

As a provider of customized supply chain solutions, the company serves customers in many business-to-business market segments including supermarkets, healthcare facilities, universities, and restaurants.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage private brand costing for legacy IDC:
  • Develop and put in place a load review process that will ensure we maintain a maximum load while making sure we stay competitive.
  • Manage private brand costing strategy for all acquisitions, for all private label product brought to market:
  • Contact all acquisitions to get what their current market cost is and establish what this market costing represents as load per product.
  • Send market cost to pricing department, per acquisition, to be loaded in their price file and be visible by the CX department when an acquisition places an order and also visible in each acquisition file on our ecommerce site.
  • When market conditions change, receive request from acquisitions for a cost change, validate and push back if required or implement if approved.
  • Manage our Internal Cost Support (ICS) process (knowing that most of the ICS will be toward private brand items):
  • Receive Internal Cost Support request from sales managers or other key stakeholders.
  • Analyze, approve/propose/decline based on market and other similar requests received.
  • Initiate internal process for Internal Cost Support (ICS).
  • Keep track and report monthly on all Internal Cost Support (ICS).
  • For private brand items, develop and implement an audit process where we review, on a regular basis, the support provided and reevaluate if we need to change our total system net cost to ensure we remain competitive and have a minimum of Internal Cost Support (ICS) in place.
  • Manage the market segment contract for Fordis for private brand items:
  • Work closely with the Fordis leaders to establish what the Fordis allowance should be per private brand product category.
  • Initiate the internal process of Market Segment Contract and ensure implemented.
  • Sourcing:
  • Develop a strategy around sourcing to off shore suppliers that are part of the private brand strategy to ensure we establish the appropriate loads.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in product management, pricing strategy and/or sales related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to establish, present and clearly define pricing strategy.
  • Understands financial systems and metrics.
  • Metrics driven: strong analytical skills, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Intermediary to advance knowledge in Excel.
