Res ponsibilities

Be the main point of contact for maintenance and repairs at all twenty locations throughout the lower mainland, be willing to work on the road between various locations.

Diagnose problems and conduct general repair duties throughout our various shop locations including but not limited to:
Cleaning and maintaining spray booths.
Minor electrical repairs
Minor drywall repairs
General building upkeep including caulking, interior and exterior painting, and other basic carpentry and light mill work.
Pressure washing and cleaning of exteriors, signage, and parking lots.
Other basic items such as locks, doors, and basic facilities equipment.
Conduct preventative maintenance.
Source, contact, schedule and liaise with external contractors to do larger repairs and equipment maintenance as needed.
Be reachable to attend emergency repair situations.

Comply with safety regulations and ensure that safety equipment in shop locations is up to date, accessible and maintained.

Make recommendations for repairs, updates or changes to buildings and work areas that may be needed, then source, plan, and budget for the repairs to be completed.

Aid in initial set up and prep work of opening new store locations.
Willingness to assist/ conduct a variety of project types.
Stay up to date with the latest repair methods.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in the operation and maintenance of buildings
Trades knowledge and experience is an asset.
Forklift and scissor lift experience and certification.
Organized and able to self-manage duties/ work independently.
Willingness to work hard and help wherever required.
Valid Driver's License
Willingness to work between various company locations across the lower mainland.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending and reaching.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
