We are looking for a flexible individual that can be available to assist our Custodial Department during CFL 2023 Saskatchewan Roughrider Season.

Applicants must be available to work full time hours for the duration of the block/term which will run from April 1st, 2023 until December 1, 2023.

You will be working a shift from Wednesday to Sunday - 8:00am to 5:00pm. Shift start and stop times may vary based on operational requirements as it relates to the Saskatchewan Roughriders Season.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Custodians have the responsibility of maintaining the cleanliness of all facilities at REAL.

You will support all facilities by ensuring they are cleaned by REAL's standards to provide a healthy and safe environment for all guests.

This role is required to maintain the interior and exterior of the buildings and their surrounding grounds which includes following cleaning processes and procedures outlined for each area or facility.

The Custodial Lead is responsible for assisting in overseeing the work of the Custodial team.

Responsibilities include assisting in assigning and directing work; addressing complaints and recommending solutions; and report any disciplinary concerns to the Supervisor/Manager.

WHAT IT TAKES

  • Grade twelve (12) education is required.
  • Supervisory/lead experience in custodial industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS program and Occupational Health and Safety Standards preferred.
  • Knowledge/previous experience working with chemicals and janitorial machinery preferred.
  • Must be able to follow directions and work with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Strong timemanagement skills and a proven track record of delivering quality results, with attention to details.
  • This position is an inscope position under the RWDSU Collective Agreement.
