As a Commercial Planner you will be responsible for leading demand planning and inventory management agenda for portfolio of suppliers across Eastern Canada.

Assisting Regional Key Account Managers and National Trade Development Manager to develop and execute trade marketing tools and programs to support brand performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop regional Demand and Supply forecasts for LCBs in region
  • Track performance and trends vs forecast
  • Works with bailment warehouses and Liquor Boards to proactively manage inventory levels based on trends and market conditions
  • Provide monthly inventory report highlighting under stock, over stock, aged inventory and offer solutions
  • Foster relationships with supplier contacts and key accounts critical to business
  • Work with sales to optimize the monthly execution tracking process and reporting functionality
  • Assist in maintaining channel activity and execution calendars
  • Analyze regional sales data by brand/channel and provide insights as required.
  • Review monthly pricing changes and point of sale depletion performance for our portfolio and competitive SKU.
  • Work with Regional Director to provide necessary calculation/submission for new product listings (pricing, certificate of origin, etc).
  • Delivery of actionable market intelligence to trade development utilizing all available data resources.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting for sales teams
  • Support the development of monthly and quarterly sales meeting content
  • Support pricing review meetings with respective commercial teams
  • Provide administrative support as required to the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business.
  • Bilingual in English/French
  • 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in MS Office with advance Excels skills in Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Sumifs, Countifs required.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good multitasking and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Sound judgment and problem solving skill
  • Basic trade development knowledge (supplier, sales, customer, brand)
  • Industry knowledge and knowledge of Liquor Board Regulations desired
  • Bilingual English and French
