Summary Statement:

Join our dedicated team in providing top-notch turf care and landscaping services.

Under the guidance of the Departmental Foreperson, you will perform a variety of tasks related to landscaping maintenance, ensuring the successful completion of all jobs assigned.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work within Occupational Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Assist with tasks delegated by Foreperson.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all areas, including job site once work has been completed.
  • Operation of Company vehicles.
  • Ensure all loads in vehicles are secured and ready for transport.
  • Load and unload vehicle for assigned jobs.
  • Collaborate with the team to understand the daily workload.
  • Use of various manual and power tools and equipment.
  • Work alongside a crew of General Labourers.
  • Complete all checklists and Vehicle Inspection book.
  • Fueling and cleaning vehicle.
  • Ensure proper use of team PPE.
  • Assist in planning and submitting routes.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

  • High attention to detail and process.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in various environments.
  • Strong problemsolving skills to navigate challenging or complex situations.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team dynamic.

Physical Effort:

  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50lbs, or 75lbs in a twoperson lift.
  • Extended periods of time spent standing, squatting, kneeling.
  • Working outdoors in various weather conditions.
