Job Description:

What you'll be doing

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.

You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeed

  • Public Affairs
  • You provide strong advice and support in helping promote CIBC's clientfocused consumer and economics research, and in public relations activities aligned to business initiatives.


Strategic Communications
  • You develop strategic communications plans and write stellar media releases, social content and key messages. You know what is "news" and have strong analytical and media writing skills.
Who you are

  • You have solid experience in journalism or media relations, as well as in social media and managing complex communication challenges. Knowledge of investor relations would also be an asset. You can write compelling communications clearly and concisely, and demonstrate excellent editing and proofreading skills. It's an asset if you have experience in and/or knowledge of banking and its diversified client segments.
