Position Summary:


Cambridge Materials Testing (CMTL), a division of Acuren, is currently recruiting for a Laboratory Technical Coordinator, to support our services in our Cambridge, Ontario laboratory.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting and researching customer's testing requirements
  • Preparing applicable paperwork, logging in test samples, and allocating them to the appropriate department
  • Preparing customer quotations
  • Prioritizing work in conjunction with department supervisors

Requirements:

  • Related science/technology degree or diploma or 2 years related experience
  • Technical background or experience reviewing testing specifications is considered an asset.
  • Basic understanding of materials testing sampling also considered an asset.
  • Well organized, detailoriented with excellent time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong communication, computer, and research skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge in materials testing is an asset
