OPERATIONS AND WAREHOUSE MANAGER
The Operations and Warehouse Manager will help oversee the efficient day-to-day operations of the warehouse and head office.

Assisting, supporting, and reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this role focuses on organizational success of people and processes, understanding the impacts they have on our business.


The primary responsibilities include:
- manage and oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance of company policies, quality standards and procedures,
- administration, coordination, coaching and supervision of people,
- implementation and development of process-procedural improvements while prioritizing quality and customer service excellence,
- maintaining operational and inventory systems for accuracy,
- produce and analyze operational-based reports,
- facilitating interdepartmental communications and logistics,
- allocating tasks and resources needed to run smooth operations efficiently and effectively in support of customer service excellence,
- management of the building, fleet, operational expenses, grounds, equipment, supplies, IT, and facilities, adhering to regulations.

  • Championing health and safety, ensuring legislative compliancy.


The Operations and Warehouse Manager must have excellent organizational skills for managing tasks, coordinating resources and people, and ensuring smooth operations within the organization.

As the person who is always in-the-know, exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills are required to convey information, collaborate with teams, management and interact with multiple stakeholders.

Drawing upon their technical expertise, the incumbent relies on their ability to make data
- driven decisions to optimize productivity and minimize waste. Must be able to analyze key metrics and use the insights gained to allocate resources effectively. This means ensuring that each task has the necessary resources and support, maximizing efficiency and output.


This role requires a focused individual who is an organized self-starter, has the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, understands the importance of policies and procedures, continuous improvement, and knowledge management who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to the operational process.

The role requires an effective communicator with strong people skills and is results oriented.

QUALIFICATIONS
- medium sized organization. Familiarity with health and safety legislation and requirements is preferred.

Incumbent must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Strong skills with electronic calendar management, Microsoft Office 365 apps, Adobe Acrobat Pro. Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning Software (ERP) - Spire would be considered an asset. Knowledge of project management software and tools. Skilled with virtual communication tools (MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx). Strong internet research skills. Must have solid knowledge of standard office equipment including fax machines, photocopiers, printers, phone systems etc.
