Position Description

- General Chemistry: Change and Equilibrium_
An introduction to university chemistry from theoretical and practical perspectives that focuses on an exploration of the fundamental links between kinetics, equilibria and thermodynamics and explores acidity/basicity and redox behaviour using inorganic and organic examples.
Teaching Schedule:
Lectures are MWF 12:00 - 13:50
Delivery Mode:
All course components will be delivered in-person.
Spring 2023 Term Dates:
Monday, May 1, 2024, to Sunday, June 23, 2024
Qualifications:
- The appointees will be expected to remain abreast of current developments in science, particularly in Chemistry.
- Previous experience in teaching Chemistry 201, 203, or 209 is an important asset.
- Experience coordinating laboratories and/or teams of graduate student teaching assistants is especially valuable, as is familiarity with the campus learning management system, D2L.
