Job Description:

We are looking for a Plant Manager in the field of Industrial Packaging Solutions. This is a great chance for an experienced Operations professional to step into the role of Plant Manager.

As a key part of our team, your main task will be to uphold top safety and quality standards while pushing for operational excellence by applying Lean Manufacturing techniques.

With your knowledge of Six Sigma methods and your strong leadership abilities, you will drive initiatives to streamline production, cut down costs, and boost efficiency across the board.

Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in safety and quality management programs at the site.

- Assess and compile production, safety, and quality reports, working with team members to come up with action plans for any identified issues.

- Deploy strategies to enhance cost efficiency, quality assurance, and production procedures.
- Manage and take part in developmental or experimental projects.
- Seek input from employees to tackle production hurdles and improve efficiencies, leveraging problem-solving methods.

- Work closely with the Planning and Operations teams to assess and tweak production schedules as necessary, ensuring ample staffing coverage.

- Supervise both proactive and corrective maintenance practices for production machinery, including coordinating maintenance schedules.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing practices like Six Sigma.
- Establish and enforce preventive maintenance programs to maintain equipment dependability.
- Provide comprehensive training for staff on safety, quality, and production protocols.
- Make decisions on operational plans and schedules to meet set goals.

Requirements:
~ Bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management, preferably with a Master's degree.
~ Over 6 years of background in operations, maintenance, engineering, or process enhancement, with experience in team leadership.
~ Previous involvement in a Lean manufacturing setting.
~ Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification is a plus.
