  • A "Product" refers to a business or technologyenabled feature, service or offering that creates value for the customer. As a Product Owner, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring that the Active Trader & Long-Term Investor WebBroker solutions create value for the organization and clients through the delivery of customerfocused products. You will also be responsible for acting as a digital and delivery SME for executives and business segment leaders to support the delivery of a product vision.
  • To provide that support, you will align with other Product Owners and Senior Management to develop and execute a product vision. You will provide user story designs, oversee development and completion
- of those designs, create and maintain a prioritized product backlog, and manage delivery blockers. You'll also continuously assess customer feedback by taking the pulse of the market, driving innovation and collaborating with stakeholders.

  • As a Product Owner, you will actively consider how to maximize value, assess how the product or the delivery process can be continuously improved, contribute to a positive work environment, and ensure that the work embodies the Agile principles of transparency, collaboration, and engagement

Key Objectives for this Role:

  • Accountable for specialized Wealth product development support based on sound product expertise and knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes, roles, and practices
  • Integrates knowledge of Wealth or business line's overarching strategy in developing solutions across multiple functions or operations
  • Interpret internal/external business challenges and the industry environment and recommend course of action and best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • Leads and integrates crossfunctional understanding with Wealth or other Enterprise projects with significant resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Solves or may lead others to solve complex problems; lead efforts or partner with others to develop new solutions.
  • Communicates difficult concepts; convert information into compelling business context and advice to influence and gain alignment among increasingly senior stakeholders.
  • Work autonomously as a lead and guide others within area of expertise.
  • Analysis of customer feedback and platform data for strategic insights to improve products/platforms
  • Leverage platform/transaction/account level data to identify trends in customer behavior through work with advanced analytics teams to provide actionable recommendations
  • Proactively coordinates with stakeholders and control partners to help ensure product deliverables meet TD's standards for risk, governance, and compliance
  • Participates in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own team

Job Requirements

  • Proactively manage business stakeholders to obtain inputs needed for product development in a timely manner and actively communicate to Business, Technology and Senior Management product changes and backlog priorities.
  • Participate in Scrum or Kanban events (e.g. standups, retrospectives) to express new ideas for improving product value or delivery efficiency and share with leadership as appropriate
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with an ability to remain resilient under pressure
  • Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills with a strong ability to manage, influence and leverage a multitude of stakeholders
