Your Opportunity:
  • The position available is for a casual Speech Language Pathologist based out of Camrose Home Care, requiring travel within the community and surrounding areas.
  • The successful applicant will provide clinical professional practice independently and as part of a collaborative team, including external partners.
  • Responsibilities include prevention, health promotion, assessment, intervention, and case management.
  • Participation in planning, coordination, and delivery of rehabilitation services in collaboration with patients/clients, families, healthcare professionals, and other partners.
Description:

Join as a Speech Language Pathologist, engaging in clinical professional practice independently and as part of a collaborative team. Provide services in prevention, health promotion, assessment, intervention, and case management. Contribute to planning, coordination, and delivery of rehabilitation services in cooperation with various stakeholders. Demonstrate leadership by supervising students and offering clinical guidance to staff when needed. Utilize clinical expertise to support quality improvement, service integration, and program development.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
Additional Required Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license and operating vehicle for home visits in surrounding areas.
  • Current BLS certification.
