Salary:

Academic starting salaries are determined based on qualifications and years of related experience as detailed in the collective agreement for academic employees.


What you will do:


The incumbent will also support student advising, student recruitment, graduate placement, assist with the promotion and marketing of programs and develop and maintain strong industry ties.

Experience:

Industry acumen, and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required.

The incumbent will have a demonstrated ability to teach a number of courses offered by the college, along with specialized competencies in the following areas:
interviewing, investigations, evidentiary procedures, community policing, and ethics and accountability in policing.

The incumbent must also have a strong understanding of relevant justice legislation such as the Police Services Act, Charter of Rights and Freedoms, YCJA, Criminal Code, and the Mental Health Act.
