Crestline Coach Ltd. is seeking an energetic & professional individual to add to our Customer Care Team as Master Scheduler.
As a Master Scheduler, you will be able to:

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules specifically tailored to ambulance remount.
  • Utilize scheduling software and tools to optimize resource allocation, minimize lead times, and maximize efficiency in the remount process.
  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for the bus operations production line, encompassing both predelivery inspection (PDI) and upfitting processes.
  • Daily review and adjust ambulance remount and bus operation schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand, resource availability, or Customers' priorities.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of bus upfitting activities, including installations of specialized equipment and customization according to customer specifications.
  • Ensure timely completion of bus PDI, coordinating with the quality assurance team to verify compliance with safety standards and customer requirements.
  • Provide input on the production schedules to support the Sales Teams for new business quotes processes.
  • Coordinate the execution of ambulance remount operations and bus upfitting/PDI activities on the shop floor, ensuring alignment with the established production schedules and quality standards.
  • Liaise with production teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to coordinate deliveries of parts, components, and materials required for the remount and bus operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supplychain, and other internal departments to define production priorities and requirements specific to ambulance remount operations and bus operations.
  • Participate in crossfunctional meetings to input project statuses, resource constraints, and potential risks related to both production lines.
  • Monitor the progress of ambulance remount operations and bus upfitting/PDI activities on the shop floor, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time and ontime delivery.
  • Address any deviations from the production schedules, implementing immediate corrective actions to minimize disruptions, maintain production efficiency and keep Customers happy
  • Oversee activities subcontracted to external vendors or partners specifically related to ambulance remount operations and bus operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors involved in ambulance remount and bus operations, resolving immediately any current or anticipated issues or disputes that may arise during production.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing production processes, reducing waste, and enhancing operational efficiency for both ambulance remounts and bus operations.
  • Implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control measures specific to each production line to ensure consistent and reliable performance across all operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience in operations scheduling and planning, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software, Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is mandatory.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field is an asset.
  • Prior experience in project management or supplychain management is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is an asset.
