Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

Perform tasks as requested efficiently and accurately, using standard methods and techniques; Groundwater assessment and monitoring; Drilling, logging, soil sampling, monitoring well installation, and aquifer testing; Safely conducting and leading field work, field data collection, and documentation; Providing technical expertise and/or support for hydrogeologic investigations and monitoring; Working with engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, biologists, data managers, and other environmental scientists to contribute to larger multidisciplinary projects; Tracking and reporting on field activity; and Preparing supporting documentation for reports, data checking & assessments.

Qualifications

· Diploma or degree in environmental or geoscience studies;

· At least 5 years of practical experience in groundwater technology;

· Class 5 driver's licence;

· Experience in either the oil and gas industry or mining is considered an asset; and

· Familiarity with Argo operation would be beneficial.
