Responsibilities:

  • English is required, but lots of us speak polish or Ukrainian
  • Able to work as a team
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to cover walls, ceilings, and partitions
  • Prepare surfaces by removing old wallpaper or paint, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing them using appropriate tools
  • Sand and smooth seams, corners, and other surfaces to ensure a seamless appearance
  • Repair or replace damaged drywall panels as needed
  • Follow blueprints or instructions to ensure accurate installation and finishing

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Taper or similar role in the construction industry
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding construction plans
  • Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials
  • Familiarity with carpentry tools and equipment used in the trade
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively
  • Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and installing drywall panels
  • Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing gaps and cracks
  • Experience with construction painting is a plus

From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • Weekends as needed
