ROLE TITLE:

QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST (Wet Chemistry)**
DEPARTMENT:QUALITY CONTROL**
REPORTS TO:SUPERVISOR, QUALITY CONTROL**
HOURS:EVENING SHIFT 15:30 to 00:00**Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing Quality Control testing of Pharmaceutical and Natural Health products.

This position is for Wet-Chemistry, evening shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in various testing on raw materials, inprocess and finished products using USP/EP compendia methods and established analytical procedures.
  • Provide support on enviro monitoring and equipment cleaning verification in manufacturing area.
  • Operating and calibrating various of lab instruments daily or as required.
  • Preparing and standardizing various test and standard solutions
  • Recognizing outofspecification or outoftrend results and assisting in the completion of lab investigation.
  • Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements in manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
  • Participate in occupational health, safety, and wellness.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Chemistry or related studies and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of wet chemistry techniques (instrumental and manual).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Pharmaceutical or Food Industry as Lab technician/analyst.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office with a proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of the US Pharmacopoeia.

  • A strong solution focus and high attention to details to identify problems and drive for results.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
  • Sense of urgency and flexibility.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
