The Opportunity

Reporting to the Sales and Demand Planning Director, the Sales and Demand Planning Analyst will be involved in monthly forecasting reviews, streamlining sales planning processes, and fostering efficiency through innovative reporting and tools. If you possess a robust background in analytics, sales operations, and effective collaboration across teams, we welcome your application.

Responsibilities

Sales and Demand Planning + S&OP Process

  • Participate in monthly forecasting review meetings with Sales Managers.
  • Monitor new product launch forecasts to ensure the demand plan reflects current launch dates and load-in volumes for Supply Planning and Allocations. Follow up with Sales Managers to ensure all relevant changes are communicated and updated in the system.
  • Assist in updating S&OP Monthly decks (Demand Review and Leadership Review Meetings)

Analysis and Tools

  • Develop new reports or tools that streamline the sales planning process for Sales Managers, identifying opportunities for SKUs with low inventory or out-of-stock situations at the board level, as well as SKUs with excess stock.
  • Regularly conduct root cause analysis to comprehend the reasons for forecast errors, quantify variables contributing to the errors, and suggest corrective measures.
  • Perform depletion trend analysis for key brands/products to recognize the impact on demand resulting from seasonality, prolonged out-of-stock periods, THC/price adjustments, market shifts, etc.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Responsible for updating existing weekly reports. Enhance/automate internal reporting for improved efficiency.
  • Aid in documenting internal processes and procedures.

Experience

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in analytics, sales operations, customer supply chain, or commercial planning
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, capable of interpreting intricate data and making well-informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate efficiently across teams.
  • Self-driven with the flexibility to adapt to evolving business requirements and excel in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficient in Excel, skilled in Power Query, and experienced in at least one programming language (e.g. VBA, Python, Matlab, R, or similar).
