Position Title:
Group Claims Assistant

Reports To:
Manager, Group Dental Claims and Group Claims Support

Department:
Group Claims and Administration

Term:
Permanent Full-Time

Work Arrangements:
This is a hybrid role.

You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month.

You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

What you will be doing:

  • Open, sort, and manage incoming or returned mail
  • Print, sort, and manage outgoing mail
  • Categorize incoming claims or inquiries accurately and within established turnaround times
  • Update basic information in claim systems
  • Prepare reports or claim packages for various clients (internal and external) as required
  • Maintain spreadsheets for tracking processed work, and other reporting purposes
  • Photocopying and other administrative tasks
  • Other duties as required
