HOURS OF WORK:
7:30AM - 4:30PM


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- _ Cold call prospective customers in order to qualify them and determine if they are a good fit for Bramwood Forest and Sister Companies._
- _ Develop lasting relationships with customers allowing for favorable consideration when buying._
- _ Build potential customer lists, using a variety of search methods including cold calling to constantly grow your prospects and develop new business. _
- _Develop your account base through consistent and effective communication, and customer visits._
- _ Provide outstanding support to sales management team and customers by answering incoming customer calls, providing information on the status of orders or stock supply, writing/verifying/tracking orders._
- _ Work closely with lumber buyers and managers to ensure product supply and market awareness._
- _ Travel to visit customers and potentials._
- _ Participate in training and development courses, continuously improving your skill set._
- _ Investigate and resolve any discrepancies with orders in a prompt manner._
- _ Contact customers as required with outstanding overdue accounts._
- _ Arrange for cheque pick-ups via courier or upon delivery of an order. Follow-up with A/R to ensure cheques are received._
- _ Assist with accounts receivable collections and customer maintenance as needed_
- _ Update payment dates regarding outstanding invoices._
- _ Assist in keeping abreast of all stocked products available for sale at Bramwood Forest. _
- _Negotiate favorable prices while meeting the customer's product specifications._
- _ Achieve new account, sales and gross profit targets, through your daily activities. Meet other KPI's as needed._
- _ Use Salesforce to keep up to date information on all customers and prospects._
- _ Other duties as required to attain company goals._

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 2+ Years' experience within a fast paced sales environment.
  • Entrepreneurial, driven, strong work ethic and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong phone sales skills with confidence and comfortability making coldcalls.
  • Knowledge of lumber market is an asset.
  • In depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and structural wood products is an asset.
  • Must have a valid Passport and be able to travel into the United States.
  • Has access to an automobile and has a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Resultsdriven, ambitious and selfmotivated.
  • Versatile with the ability to quickly change directions.
  • Ability to assess market conditions and establish a fair selling price.
  • Experience making profitbased decisions based on available facts.
