The Project Manager-Site Servicing is solely responsible for and will be held accountable for the timely completion of the project and ensuring that the project is constructed in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes.

the site Supervisor shall schedule all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, as well as ensure their completion of work within time allowed.

The Site Supervisor shall be responsible for the coordination of work directed in the field, provide work is performed in accordance with plans and specifications.

Conflicts or revisions to the plan shall be communicated with the project team (i.e. superiors, architect, engineer, consultant, owner) for mutual resolution, prior to execution of work that deviates from the approved plans. The Site supervisor shall establish and enforce job site quality control programs to ensure quality completion of construction. the Site supervisor does not have authorization to engage in monetary agreements (subcontracts, change orders, work authorizations).

ROLE/DUTIES

  • Soliciting sub trades for pricing on site specific projects/tenders
  • Oversee a strict buildout schedule, ensuring milestones are reached and deadlines are met
  • Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion
  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed
  • Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work
  • Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team
  • Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions
  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution
  • Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work
  • Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite
  • Assist in budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontracts
  • Assist in obtaining permits or approval or revisions

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst 30= subcontractors and vendors
  • Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.
  • Blueprint reading
  • Physically lift up to 100 lbs
  • Monitoring jobsite general health and safety

  • Professionalism approaches others in a tactful manner, reacts well under pressure, treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position, accepts responsibility for own actions, follows through on commitments.
  • College or University Degree in Project Management or other related fields an asset. Minimum of FIVE years of verifiable industry experience, through knowledge of trades and be computer literate. Experience in tract housing and multifamily production is preferred. Office experience of Master builder, Microsoft office (excel, word, project and outlook) is also preferred. ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or organization._

Confined space training is not mandatory but considered an asset. all unsafe acts, near misses and accidents are to be reported to Centennial management immediately. Proper PPE is required on any of Centennial's job sites

This includes:
hard hat, 8" safety boots, reflective clothing or vests, safety glasses and gloves.
