We are looking for a customs clearance agent located in Quebec City to work for a well-established and growing customs brokerage company that is actively seeking someone with experience to join our team located in Quebec City.

  • Salary varies from $24.00/hr to $34.00/hr, depending on experience
  • 37.5hour work week
  • Overtime paid at time and a half

Responsibilities

As a Customs Clearance Agent in Quebec City, your responsibility will be to ensure compliance of customs transactions with CBSA regulations.

You will also be responsible for maintaining product databases, customer, supplier and product notes, maintaining quality controls (QC), providing technical assistance to operations agents, assisting the department supervisor, etc.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in a customs environment
  • Indepth knowledge of customs regulations
  • Ability to handle multiple files simultaneously and work under pressure
  • Organized and able to manage priorities
  • Enjoy helping people, working in a team and solving problems
  • Curiosity and desire to learn and develop knowledge
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
