Who are we searching for?

We are looking for a full-time Accounting Manager to join our growing Future Transfer team_


With focus on our growth strategy, and in consideration of our diverse Canada wide locations, we are looking to add strength to the accounting department through the addition of an experienced, responsible, and promotable Accounting Manager.


The following position details are flexible and dependent on the skill set and capabilities of the successful applicant, with an aligned competitive compensation package.

Job Duties:_

  • Management of the Accounts Receivable subledger
  • In coming cash forecast
  • Assist with the execution of full cycle (monthly, quarterly, annually) accounting processes and account reconciliations for multisite operations
  • Reconcile and analyze a wide array of balance sheet and P&L accounts
  • Support the annual budget and rolling P&L forecasting processes
  • Support monthly results reporting through investigation and quantification of gaps to expectation
  • Support continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives
  • Review and assist in the establishment and maintenance of a robust internal control and compliance environment to ensure safeguarding of company assets
  • Other related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:_

  • Recent graduate enrolled in CPA program in pursuit of designation or proven equivalent experience
  • Proven accounting experience, ideally closing monthend and preparing Financial
Statements

  • Detail oriented with strong work ethic
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Selfmotivated and result oriented who is positive, energetic and willing to take
initiative

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel user including pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, complex formulas, etc

  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
  • Overtime as required
  • Long periods of sitting

  • Salary commensurate with experience
