Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Read and interpret blueprints and building codes to determine optimal plumbing solutions
  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems in new construction projects
  • Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
  • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality
  • Respond to plumbing emergencies and provide timely repairs
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to complete projects

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plumber or pipefitter
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems
  • Experience with HVAC systems is a plus
  • Ability to build, calibrate, and rig various plumbing components
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for plumbing tasks
  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and angles
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of work performed

Qualifications:

  • Valid plumber's license or certification preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, contractors, and team members
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
