Job Opportunity:


We are looking for an IT Specialist to provide IT support to IGC employees in conjunction with the IT Department Staff.

What you'll do:
_**- Works cooperatively with customers, fellow employees, contractors, and management.

  • Provide IT setup and support for software, laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets, printers etc. via ticketing system.
  • Supports VoIP phone system and access control system.
  • Manages hardware and software IT inventory.
  • Deployment/Configuration of endpoints via Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
  • Assists in troubleshooting computer/network/server/software related issues in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Seeks to implement continuous improvement in daily tasks.
  • Occasional overtime when dealing with emergencies.
  • Completes all assigned tasks in a neat and timely fashion.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the SQPD (Safety, Quality, Performance and Delivery) of all projects.
  • Occasional travel as required between Barrie/Newmarket locations.
  • Assists IT Group Leader with various IT projects and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Communicates with management, fellow staff, and customers any project concerns, project status, and possible solutions.
  • Changing job conditions may require periodical skill upgrades.

Education Requirements and Experience:

  • College diploma or university degree in Computer Science or an ITrelated field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant computer/IT support experience
  • Previous experience working with/supporting Microsoft 36
  • CompTIA A+ (preferred)
  • Valid Driver's license
