WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Provides financial and accounting expertise and support to the organization and its decision-making processes related to accounts payable. Assumes key responsibilities for accounts payable financial issues.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting/business program required
  • 3+ years of working experience in accounting/finance with experience in accounts payable required
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, or actively pursuing designation preferred

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Ability to balance multiple work demands to achieve deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to take initiative and act independently using good judgement as well as accept direction.
  • Demonstrated experience in account reconciliations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of software packages (i.e. Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point), ERP platform and eprocurement software.
  • Experience working with and manipulating large data sets in Excel (i.e. use of pivots, lookups, ect.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated with superior attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, meet strict deadlines and multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience working within a team environment.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
