New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Technical Information Security Consultant to help our client support major hospital development projects, with a focus on Information Security.

Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging knowledge and experience in completing technical security and privacy assessments.
  • Follow the technical intake process to review and evaluate every Builder or client supplied application, equipment type (medical/building), and technology that resides on or connects to the clients IT technical environment.
  • Deliver Core Security Requirements (CSR) / Security, Threats, Risks Assessment (STRA) documents including recommendations, mitigations and go forward strategies and working plans.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Information Security.
  • 10+ years of direct experience working healthcare preferred.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification preferred.
  • Experience on large complex multi-faceted projects
  • Collaborator / team player experienced working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Seasoned intuitiveness about personal and team productivity.
  • Ability to turnaround work in quick order and relatively good quality (minimal avoidable rework).
  • Work effectively under time pressure.
  • Prepared to take initiative.
  • Prepared to make long-term commitment.
  • Flexibility to be re-assigned in response to shifting priorities and needs across Capital Projects.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of technology partner
