Providing news and information by both print and digital formats, FP Newspapers Inc. is a trusted Winnipeg news source, both nationally and for local residents. FPLP owns and operates the Winnipeg Free press, The Brandon Sun, and their related businesses, along with several other Manitoba-based news ad media publications that are available in both print and digital formats.

The President & CEO is responsible for overall leadership and management of all resources of FP Newspapers Inc. A visionary who is committed to their community, the President & CEO will leverage innovation and strategic-thinking abilities to identify and implement best-in-class practices that will support the continued evolution and success of FP Newspapers Inc. media outlets. This is an opportunity to take a 'jewel' in a highly challenged sector and to lead the organization into its next era of transformational growth and impact. Leading a talented, creative, and experienced team and reporting to the Board of Directors, the President & CEO will craft a clear vision for growth, impact, and service to Manitobans that engages new and existing audiences across all platforms, including print, online, and mobile.

Success in this role requires an individual who embodies drive and innovative thinking. Not afraid to push status quo to support the continued success of the business, the CEO will capitalize on opportunities to evolve the service offerings to reflect the readerships' interests. The selected candidate is a natural teambuilder and uniter; adept at building and strengthening relationships across a diverse array of teams, cultures, and orientations, specifically during a time of transformation. You bring a track record of success in growing or evolving a business and are comfortable acting as a spokesperson for a unique and dynamic business in an assortment of settings with a wide variety of stakeholders. Having a demonstrated passion for building customer-centric organizations and relationships, and a genuine interest in Winnipeg and Manitoba and its communities is crucial for success in this role.
