Temporary assignment - approximately 52 weeks

***Under a matrix model of management the Administrative Coordinator 1 is accountable for developing, implementing and maintaining the efficient administrative operation for the Senior Consultant for Diagnostic Imaging Strategic Quality Initiatives. Possessing intuition, as well as excellent organization, problem - solving and interpersonal skills, the role is responsible for performing tasks with the utmost accuracy and proficiency while working as part of a team to support and enhance the Diagnostic Imaging strategic quality initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 diploma, plus 2 years postsecondary diploma in medical office administration
  • 13 years recent related experience
  • Recent experience working in a healthcare environment an asset
  • Intermediate level computer, skills including MS Word, Excel, MS PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe, Internet Explorer
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Excellent public relations and interpersonal skills are required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self motivated, with demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal relationships while handing multiple tasks, frequent interruptions
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully, both in person and by telephone
