The Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa (YSB) is dedicated to supporting vulnerable and at-risk youth, their families and the adults in community, through a diverse variety of programs and services, in both official languages.

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization.

Develop and implement creative strategies and programs that align with YSB's mission and address emerging challenges faced by our youth.

Leverage political connections and relationships to influence and advocate for youth services and sustainable funding/resources for the organization.

Authenticity:
Lead with integrity, authenticity, and transparency, inspiring confidence and trust within the organization and the community.

Respect and Collaboration:

Building partnerships and teams; EDI Awareness: Prioritize Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) within the organization, promoting fair and inclusive practices and behaviours at all levels.

Cultural Competency:
Can lead a multi-generational, culturally diverse workforce and respond to the needs of an increasingly diverse youth demographic.

Minimum undergraduate degree; ideally relevant degree at the post-graduate level in Social Work/ Education/Counselling/ Business or Administration or a combination of relevant experience and education
Extensive experience in senior leadership roles, preferably in social services, health care, community or youth-focused organizations – understands the environment and landscape
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and partners.
Proficiency in English and French is essential.

Miser sur les relations politiques pour influencer et défendre les services destinés aux jeunes et le financement durable pour l'organisme.

Diplôme de premier cycle au minimum; idéalement, diplôme de troisième cycle en travail social, éducation, conseil, affaires ou administration ou combinaison d'expérience et de formation pertinentes.

Vaste expérience à des postes de direction, de préférence dans les services sociaux, les soins de santé, les organismes communautaires ou les organismes jeunesse, et compréhension du milieu.

Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français.
