Position Summary:

The Events Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that our Events Team are supported in their endeavors.

They will be responsible for consistently delivering "best in class" customer service and ensure each client and guest receives sincere, timely and professional service upon introduction to the venue and through the course of their event.


Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate with the Events Team, the booking of site tours with new inquiries, as well as answering any initial and general questions new clients may have.
  • Print packages and form them to ensure prospective clients have information accessible.
  • Pass along information gathered through the site tour to discuss with clients following their tour.
  • Assist in IV Loft and Gathering room set up and adhere to instructions/steps as outlined in the banquet event order (BEO) when requested by the Events Supervisor/Manager.
  • Ensure all wedding clients cards are filled out
  • When required, oversee the flow of the timeline, with specific attention to the venue related specifics (movement of furniture, archway, barrels, unlocking of rooms, guiding guests through the space, lighting of candles, movement of candles, brewery tours, special liquor requests etc.)
  • Sit in on BEO Meetings and gather notes on important details, constructive criticism and notes to adjust in the Event space to ensure maintained function and excellence.
  • Create event folders and ensure BEOs and Floorplans are printed and added into each folder as necessary.
  • Assist in liquor/Keg inventory weekly/monthly and regularly inventoried items to ensure the maintenance of IV Loft costs and belongings.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations and company standards while also making sure others are following suit.
  • Ensure/facilitate the cleaning of the IV Loft, through requesting the cleaner be booked or refreshing the room themselves/with the Events Team
  • Ensure compliance with Four Fathers' policies and procedures including participation in ongoing job related training.
  • All other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding and passion for craft beer.
  • Self starter and eager to deliver results.
  • Customer focused and dedicated to exceeding the expectations of internal and external relationships.
  • Must be eager to learn, to grow, to be a part of chaos and to create fun.
  • Able to lift up 80 pounds.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of One (1) years' experience in a events management with a focus on exemplary customer service.
  • Smart Serve Certified (required)
  • Formal beer education, Prud'homme or Cicerone (in progress) would be an asset

Salary:
$15.50-$18.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
