The starting wage for this role is $18.50 per hour

As a Glacier View Lodge Hotel Team Lead, you will work with other hotel and Columbia Icefield staff to personalize the guest experience at the Glacier View Lodge (GVL), encouraging guests to refresh and relax in one of the most spectacular locations in the Canadian Rockies.

This is a multi-faceted position and can include any, or all, of the following:Assists Housekeeping team in all areas of daily housekeeping serviceOversees Housekeeping, Host and Front Desk teams in the absence of the Hotel Manager or Supervisor and all other times as requiredInspects the work of housekeepers, hosts and front desk agents to ensure that proper operational standards are met and maintainedAssists the Hotel Manager and Supervisor in maintaining quality control in all areas of the LodgeAssists the Hotel Manager and Supervisor in the control of stock & inventories of supplies and linens to ensure adequate supply levels are maintainedWorks closely with the Hotel Manager to submit rooms for check-in and reports of any room or guest issuesEnforces all company policies and regulationsOther duties as assignedWhat skills and experience do you need for this job?:Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping, front desk and or hotel operations requiredA positive, helpful, team-oriented, inspiring, cooperative attitude to all aspects of the jobEnjoy working autonomously and independentlyCurrent Alberta Pro Serve Certification (Required)
