Key Accountabilities:

  • Over see daytoday operations of the store
  • Develop effective business strategies to increase your customer base, increase store traffic and optimize profitability
  • Be mindful of industry trends, actively seek out new products and opportunities with local businesses to exceed our customers expectations
  • Participates in the annual budget process and manages all controllable costs
  • Ensure Health and Safety of all employees and customers by ensuring that the store is up to date with all current health and safety regulations
  • Oversees that all store operations run smoothly by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures
  • Works closely with Assistant Store Manager in all planning and implementing of strategies to exceed customer expectations
  • Coordinate with Employee Experience Team for hiring needs
  • Respond to all customer complaints, monitor all social media reviews and respond appropriately
  • Leads by example when on the floor
  • Participates in the coaching and mentoring of all staff on an ongoing basis through out the year. Maintains open communication with management team of any ongoing opportunities with staff

Qualifications:

WSET level 2 or applicable liquor industry experience
4-5 years in the customer service or retail industry
2-3 years as a General Manager/Store Manager in a retail setting
Experience coaching/mentoring a team
Understanding of Microsoft Office Apps and general technology
