Responsibilities

  • Assist in showcasing facilities and all related activity areas to qualified customers
  • Provide appropriate information on products and services
  • Coordination and facilitation of internal and external events
  • Onsite liaison between sales, catering, other WinSport departments and client on set up days/large event days
  • Organize event logistics with contracted offsite clients
  • Assist client with event rentals, floor plans, and signage
  • Prepare and distribute event requirements (event sheets, contracts, audio visual requirements, floor plans)
  • Understand and effectively resolve client and internal departments issues

Qualifications

  • 1 year experience working with small, medium and large scale events, in any capacity.
  • High level of energy with strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building and negotiating skills.
  • Ensures professionalism and quality in all situations.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Effective people skills and well developed oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels.
  • Highly organized, detailed and able to prioritize and work on several events/projects simultaneously while demonstrating flexibility in working with last minute changes.
  • Effective follow through skills regarding a multitude of daily administrative and logístical requirements.

Work Conditions

  • Standard office environment with significant time in front of a computer screen
  • Some walking, lifting and pushing of up to 10lbs
  • Flexible work times based on business needs
  • The ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
