The People People on behalf of our client Centura is hiring for a Warehouse Inventory Control position
Centura, a leading wholesale distributor of flooring and related products, established in 1961, seeks a full-time Warehouse Inventory Control team member to join their London location
The main duties of the position include helping manage Centura's inventory procedures and processes
Responsibilities:
- Label incoming products
- Research missing products
- Clear system bins, verify pick up category, adjust for canceled orders, label orders for customers
- Perform inventory cycle counts
- Run variance reports, investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Report major variances to management
- Post cycle counts and file adjustments
- Support inventory preparation processes
- Support year-end inventory
- Assist other Centura departments as needed
- Complete assigned duties by Management
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Preferred 2 years experience in inventory or data entry
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures
- Manage filing systems and databases
- Strong computer skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Follow Centura's policies and procedures
- Represent Centura professionally
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Office-based role with light physical exertion and mental concentration
- Occasional lifting from 5-25 lbs unassisted
Applicants must be available for full-time weekday shifts between 7:30am to 5:00pm
