The Department of Health is seeking an individual to join the Health Emergency Management Branch as a Project Coordinator in Fredericton.

As a Project Coordinator you will:
Provide team-based project management and facilitation for the development and/or maintenance of all components of the provincial-level health emergency management program, including:
Emergency plan communication, implementation, and monitoring.
Participation in the design and delivery of health emergency management training and education.
Participate in departmental and external emergency management committees and work groups;
Promote best practices and provide professional advice, guidance and support relating to emergency management;
Serve as a liaison and perform outreach functions with various levels of government and other stakeholders;
Maintain positive relationships with a large network of internal and external stakeholders involved in preparedness and response activities.
Prepare correspondence and provide other executive support to the branch.
You have well-developed influencing and relationship management skills.
You are comfortable and effective working with senior leaders, external stakeholders, clients and all levels of the organization.
Bachelor's degree in Health, Business, Public Administration or another related field.
Three years of experience in emergency management.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability on your application

Experience in Project Management

Candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications, in addition to the essential qualifications, in order to be given further consideration.

The successful candidate will possess the following technical competencies:
Knowledge of Group Facilitation Techniques
Project Management
