  • Rapportant à l'AVP Reporting and Projects, le Senior Financial Accountant (SFA) est un membre clé de l'équipe de comptabilité financière du groupe soutenant les activités de l'entreprise et de la réassurance de l'entreprise.
  • Contribuer aux processus de rapport, de planification et de prévision financiers.
  • Participer à l'analyse et à la comptabilité, y compris le reporting interne et externe.

Le poste offre une excellente opportunité d'apprendre sur diverses entreprises, de comprendre les environnements comptables, opérationnels et de contrôle, de jouer un rôle clé dans la réalisation des livrables et de travailler avec des professionnels chevronnés de la comptabilité, de l'audit et du reporting financier.

  • Fournir un soutien pour le processus de clôture mensuel/trimestriel incluant la préparation des écritures de journal et l'analyse des écarts ainsi que la rédaction de commentaires.
  • Effectuer des processus de contrôle sur les rapprochements de comptes pour les transactions inter-entreprises/inter-segments.
  • Préparer des analyses d'écarts et rédiger des commentaires pour les modèles d'examen des états financiers.
  • Faciliter la préparation des états financiers pour différentes filiales d'entreprise.

Cela inclut la préparation du résumé des travaux, la collecte de données de soutien et de documentation pour les ajustements nécessaires, et la rédaction des états financiers et des notes requises.

  • Préparer les soumissions trimestrielles de Statistique Canada de données financières sélectionnées pour MFC et ses filiales.
  • Soutenir les initiatives de projets et de BAU de l'équipe Corporate.
  • Assister dans l'analyse continue des processus de flux de travail et l'établissement de nouvelles procédures, améliorer et réingénier les processus actuels pour les rationaliser et gagner en efficacité.

Assister avec diverses initiatives de transformation de la planification lorsqu'elles se présentent.

Vous devez être curieux pour découvrir des moyens d'utiliser votre approche agile et permettre des résultats commerciaux.

Diplôme en administration des affaires universitaire et/ou désignation comptable reconnue (CPA de préférence)
~ 3+ ans d'expérience progressive en comptabilité financière.
~ Solides compétences en gestion des parties prenantes nécessitant persuasion et influence, construction de relations et compétences de négociation.
~ Solides compétences techniques en comptabilité.
~ Connaissance de PowerBI et des bases de données est un avantage.
~ Solides compétences en communication orale/écrite requises pour interagir avec les cadres supérieurs et les représentants d'autres domaines fonctionnels.
~ Compréhension de Lawson ou des systèmes/applications de finance générale disponibles sur le marché.
~ Maîtrise de la suite MS Office incluant Outlook, Word, Power Point et Project.
