The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority's (UTRCA) mission statement is Inspiring a Healthy Environment.

The 17 municipalities within the Upper Thames River watershed appoint representatives to the UTRCA's Board of Directors who represent the local urban and rural communities, deciding policies and programs that will lead to a healthy watershed.

Our programs and services focus on five key areas:

Protecting people and property and supporting safe development;
Making science-based decisions;
Empowering communities and youth.
UTRCA Conservation Areas provide outdoor recreational opportunities that aim to educate and promote conservation messages to a large audience in an effort to improve the watershed's natural environment

The Asset Management Specialist reports to the Manager of Community and Corporate Services and is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation, monitoring and maintenance of the UTRCA's asset management program consistent with UTRCA policies and procedures and in accordance with the goals and objectives of the UTRCA's Strategic Plan and regulatory responsibilities.

This position will be responsible for the delivery of the UTRCA asset management program and the coordination of the area leads and specific asset managers.

A degree or college diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution (university or College) in Engineering, Certified Engineering Technologist, Business Administration / Management, or Natural Resource Management, or a related discipline.

Preference will be given to individuals with Certified Asset Management Professional designation (CAMP) or Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA) with asset management experience.

A minimum of three (3) years of professional asset management working experience.
Experience with the development of strategy and preparation of policies and procedures is required.

Experience with the management of data, as well as experience with interpreting and making recommendations for applications is required.

40 per hour;
Full time, 35 hours per week;
