Position Overview:


As a Food Service Worker (Closing Shift - Key Holder), you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and front-of-house areas during evening shifts.

You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including food preparation, cash handling, customer interaction, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the establishment.

This role also entails basic supervisory responsibilities (1-2 people), requiring you to oversee closing procedures and ensure that operations run seamlessly until the end of the day.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vegetables and meats according to established recipes
  • Follow written recipes accurately, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
  • Measure and weigh ingredients with precision
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and service areas
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional service
  • Wash dishes and kitchen equipment as needed
  • Oversee closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and endofday tasks

Requirements:

  • 35 years' experience in a food service or kitchen environment preferred
  • Previously experience as a Key Holder (closing shift) preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
  • Intermediate math skills and proficiency in cash handling
  • Flexibility to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Food Safe Level 1 certification mandatory

Hours:
Tuesday to Saturday, 11am - 7pm

Available shifts and compensation:
Available shifts all days except Mondays. Compensation is $ $20.00/hour.
