What You Will Achieve


The Innovative Technology-Innovative Solutions Delivery team within the Global Clinical Supply Chain organization is dedicated to supporting the implementation and user adoption of technology solutions that enable the clinical supply chain to operate efficiently while also ensuring a superior level of quality and compliance.

There are many critical systems within the digital ecosystem that include highly integrated, multi-functional platforms that support thousands of users across Pfizer and the entirety of the clinical portfolio including grant, expanded / compassionate access studies and Phase I-III programs.

Given the critical nature of this ecosystem and the growth in the clinical portfolio, this position will play an important role in ensuring a high level of customer engagement to understand business processes and requirements.

How You Will Achieve It


The Change Agent role will support the Innovative Technology organization by developing Business Cases for technology projects, ensuring business requirements meet business need and value proposition, leading the Business Change Management tasks to achieve readiness for adoption of the solution and measure user uptake and value realization post rollout.

The Change Agent will also analyze existing business and technical processes to help enhance existing systems, support the GCS Data Marketplace and evaluate any new solutions.

This role requires the ability to interpret and document requirements, understanding of the Business Change Management process, and knowledge of software/system development lifecycle principles as well as a general understanding of training and learning principles and organizational psychology.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish relationships with customers and liaises between the business and technical project team members, ensuring mutual understanding of the customer needs and excellence in user experience.
  • Lead the change management activities including identifying and updating pertinent SOPs, developing communication plan, create target user awareness, author and conduct user training.
  • Lead postproduction activities including gathering lessons learned, collecting user feedback, measuring key value metrics and computing return on investment.
  • May be required to participate in eliciting requirements from stakeholders, analyze, organize, document, and validate the resulting requirements, and communicate and secure agreement on the requirements across stakeholders
  • Build, validate and update diagrams, models and other artifacts to describe business processes, conceptual information models, organizational structure, business area context and/or system requirements
  • Provides input on design to ensure that the design meets the business requirements and focuses on user experience.
  • Work with others in GCS to identify organizational and cultural factors that may enhance or detract from the ability to change.
  • Identify and address potential sources of resistance to change and work with manager and teammates to overcome.
  • Work with project managers and project teams to integrate change management activities with project plans.
  • Where applicable, create actionable deliverables for the change management processes, e.g., Sponsor Plan, Communications Plan, and Training Plan.
  • Where needed, Track and report issues to manager, team, and/or leadership.
  • Create and maintain a catalog of change management best practices.
  • Identify and support sustainable changes where possible and practical.
Must-Have

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science, supply chain or business discipline
  • 510 years of experience in project level business analysis and/or change management using standard business analysis techniques such as brainstorming, interviewing, data analysis, process analysis, and use case development
  • Familiarity with IIBA Business Analysis Body of Knowledge and/or change management methodologies (AIM, ADKAR, etc.)
  • Familiarity with software/solution delivery life cycles
  • Facilitation, organization, presentation skills
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations
  • Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
