Requirements for this role:

  • PSW certification or diploma mandatory
  • First Aid and CPR Certification (within 1 year)
  • Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Up-to-date Tb test and Immunizations

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Compassion, integrity, and top-quality care are core values of our community.
  • Deliver personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with daily activities including meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, etc.
  • Support safe ambulation and transfers
  • Execute delegated tasks as needed
  • Encourage client independence
  • Offer psychological and emotional assistance
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with clients, families, and stakeholders
  • Promote a secure environment for clients and staff
