The successful person will have exceptional organizational and time management skills to ensure both company and customer requirements are met in the most efficient manner.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generating purchase orders and purchasing required supplies as required
  • User Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) and other software procurement tools to carry out the procurement process
  • Generate Min/Max reports and maintain preset inventory levels of the Min/Max system
  • Negotiating, as required, with suppliers to obtain the best price and lead time for supply of items
  • Processing Material Defect Reports including generating required documentation and returning to vendors
  • Ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained so that customer and company requirements are met in the most efficient manner

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Education:

  • University degree or college diploma preferred
  • Experience in procurement, warehousing, inventory, shipping & receiving, business administration, or accounting

Competencies:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Advanced computer skills with expert proficiency using MS Office/O365 and other software tools
  • Dynamic and capable of multitasking while providing a high level of accuracy and detail
  • Thrives in a teamoriented environment
  • Energetic and motivated selfstarter with a drive for continuous improvement
